  • Vacuum: Evacuates the vehicle A/C system of any gasses into a vacuum state.

  • Nitrogen test: Runs oxygen free nitrogen through system to identify any leaks.

  • Oil Injection: Injects the required fresh PAG oil into the vehicle A/C system.

  • Recharge: Refill the vehicle A/C system with the correct amount of refrigerant.

DPF cleaning and regen

DPFs can become blocked and fail, a replacement can cost £1000s. We use a chemical cleaning method which can leave the filter up to 98% cleaner.

  • Chemical cleaning: Chemicals are directly inserted into the vehicles exhaust system breaking down the soot.

  • Forced regen: The vehicle will go through a regeneration process to blast out the contaminants.

  • Diagnostic: We run a diagnostic check to  restore normal operation of your vehicle.

Vehicle diagnostics

Using state-of-the-art diagnostics we can ensure your vehicle is road-worthy and any issues present are identified for repair. We offer mobile diagnostics, save time and money going to main dealers and let us come to you to offer diagnostic assistance.

Mobile air conditioning full service – what we do in a 10 step guide

We are fully qualified and compliant, with years of experience.

1. Check the temperature coming from air vents using a thermometer.
2. Check all controls/buttons are working.
3. Visual check for any obvious signs of damage. Condenser, hoses etc.
4. Check for pressure in the system.
5. Check refrigerant amount, evacuate system, measure pressure, Measure amount recovered.
6. Run a Nitrogen test for leaks. If any leaks are present the vehicle will not be allowed to be re gassed under current UK law.
7. Add correct type of oil, as recommended by the manufacturer.
8. Recharge system with correct refrigerant as recommended by the manufacturer.
9. Check vent temperature and refrigerant pressures.
Check all electric and controls.
10. Update service records

Leak detection legislation for vehicle air conditioning testing

We use a leak detection method of oxygen free nitrogen. This is due to the change of legislation in the UK which does not allow a regas using UV dye. This is to prevent any unwanted gas being released into the atmosphere. We understand many people still use the UV dye method as it is difficult to regulate. We believe using OFN is the most effective and environmentally friendly method at this current time.

Here’s why you should get your air conditioning serviced every year:

Air conditioning systems can lose up to 15% of refrigerant each year. This can reduce performance and increase fuel consumption. We fully test the efficiency of your vehicles air conditioning system, including a temperature control test. This would identify any issues or faults that may be present and reduce the chances of any issues developing in the future.

We advise that you run your air conditioning at least once a week as the seals can seize potentially costing you more in the future for new parts and repair!

Most service schedules from manufacturers will recommend an air conditioning service every year. You will find this information in your vehicles operating manual. An air conditioning service from us will ensure the system is kept in the good condition and will prevent any issues occurring in the future, which can be costly.

The air conditioning system is a complex system with many parts. For example, the compressor requires the correct amount of oil and refrigerant running through the system at all times. Without this the compressor will fail due to additional strain and a replacement is very expensive.
